As a mom, it’s important to know that you can dress for style and function. I can’t tell you how many days I slapped on sweat pants, sneakers, and a plain white tee. What was I doing? Don’t lose your identity or love for fashion just because you are nursing or are chasing after a baby. You can totally transform your wardrobe by wearing one of my most favorite fashion items-a maxi dress.
Maxi dresses are awesome for summer because they are so light and airy. I literally feel like I’m gliding on a cloud when I wear one. Plus, they are pretty darn stylish. Some women think dresses are totally impractical. I say, not at all. Think about it-you can bend and sit with ease (and not have to worry about anything hanging out) because the dress skims the floor. And, if you select one in a very simple silhouette and casual color/print; it certainly won’t look overly fancy. Here are some of my favorites to wear if you are nursing and want to keep cool when the months get hot!
Ophelia Maxi Tank Nursing Dress I love this maxi because it is super versatile. It’s long, neutrally colored, and it has a playful grey snakeskin print over your chest area. It has concealed zippers that are sewn into its front darts so you can nurse your baby with ease!
Graphic Maternity Maxi Wrap Dress Look sizzling hot in the summer by wearing this black and white graphic print maxi. It has a crossover v neckline with a halter feature for moms who need lots of chest support. And, it’s made out of a stretch jersey fabric, so it’s flattering and comfortable.
Majamas Weekend Nursing Maxi Dress Move over pajamas! You’ve got to check out this maxi that feels like jammies but certainly doesn’t look like them. Soft and complete with pockets and a hood; this maxi allows you to utilize a move aside front nursing feature. It’s practical, fun, and you’re sure to love it!
A gorgeous color and cut for summer, and a flattering silhouette and functional nursing feature; this maxi is a must have to look sleek and chic this season!
You can look like the mommy who has it all together by wearing these awesome outfits that allow you to feed you baby with ease; but also with a lot of style!
